Field Trips

Two trips that highlight the 4th grade year are the outdoor education program in Oak Glen and our social studies experience in Irvine.  The kids are able to learn about life & earth sciences in God's original classroom- the great outdoors!  And for history, through hands-on activities, visuals, and character role play, the students experience the life of a forty-niner during the CA Gold Rush.  You bet the 4th graders had plenty opportunities to yell out "Eureka!" while panning for gold.  And there is nothing quite like a guided tour through the OC Zoo where guides share stories about animals and their ecosystems and invite us into the nature center and petting zoo.
Next month, parents and students alike will learn more than we ever have before about CA missions and oceanography when we visit San Diego!  Get ready for a fun-filled day!!!
