The first month has been filled with review and the
challenge of adjusting to the fourth grade.
Students have already covered rounding, counting money, estimation, and
decimals in math. They have diagramed
sentences and identified subjects and predicates. Reading has been a lot of fun and our class
is currently reading a play with assigned characters just to spice things up a
bit. Through our Bible studies we have learned how fulfilled prophecy,
historical events, and archeology proves the truth of the Bible. In social studies we have learned all about
the geography of our state and students even used the state shape for creative
artwork. Students were able to
experiment with balloons to help them understand static electricity and
electrical currents. This class is
learning and having fun while doing so. We’re off to a great start!
