Hello 4th Grade Students and Parents!
May I
start out by mentioning how excited I am?!
I am excited to get to know each and every one of you as we study, work,
learn, play, laugh, and excel as a team.
In my opinion, 4th grade is one of the best years of your
entire school experience. Why? Because 4th graders love to learn
and know how to have fun. We study
California history and scientific experiments, plus we even have some cool
field trips planned out. Just think of
the many exciting books you will get lost in as you walk through someone else’s
shoes through the captivating pages… and of course we have great Reading Counts
goals! Math is full of strategies and
hand-on materials to help us adapt what we learn in class to real life
situations. And Bible… the only book
that can provide light in a world that would otherwise be so dark! How I treasure the opportunities we will have
to pray together, learn about God’s character, and memorize scriptures to store
in our hearts forever. Of course this
year you will get to focus on the arts, run in P.E., make new friends, explore
learning through technology, and develop greater independence. Get ready for an incredible year!
