Virtual Field Trip

So this was my first ever virtual field trip, and I was more than excited to explore this journey with an incredible audience: our 4th and 5th grade classes.  For half an hour, our host David Baldacci took us through the Smithsonian National Museum of American History to interview and showcase interesting treasures located in this museum, and all of this was done from our classroom in Rancho Cucamonga!  Sure did save us a plane ticket!  And the class was completely engaged and only spoke up to answer the questions and mysteries provided by the host.  Not even President Lincoln knew about the inscriptions found in his favorite pocket watch...  As you can imagine, during their next library visit, we checked out all of the 39 Clues books to enjoy an adventure that includes mysteries and secret messages from America’s past.
Oh, learning is so much fun!
Plus pictures from our Valentine’s Day Party and other fun moments captured on camera.
